CHAPTER 1

Create your free account

About two minutes. You only do this once.

Step 1

Sign up as a Lister

  1. Go to list.sg/auth/signup.
  2. Under "I am a…", tap Lister. Customer accounts can't create listings, so make sure Lister is selected.
  3. Enter your email and choose a password.
  4. Tick both boxes, one for the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and one for the Provider Terms.
  5. Tap Create Account. You can also tap Google to sign up with your Google account.

CHAPTER 2

Publish your first listing

A listing is one service people can book and pay for. From your Dashboard, tap New Listing. The form has six short steps, and you can tap Back at any point.

Listing step 1 of 6

Choose the kind of service

  • Appointment: one client at a time, booked from your calendar. Use this for nails, lash, hair, massage, tuition or consultations.
  • Class: a group session on a fixed date and time, like a baking or craft workshop.
  • Program: several sessions sold together as one course, like a 6-week sewing course.

Not sure which to pick? Most home businesses start with Appointment.

Add a title, description and photo

  • Listing Title: say what it is and where. "Gel Manicure at My Home Studio" works better than "Nails". At least 5 characters.
  • Category: for example Beauty, Culinary, Education, Wellness or Home.
  • Detailed Description: what's included, how long it takes, and anything the client should bring or know. At least 20 characters.
  • Cover Image: tap Choose File and pick your best photo.

Photo tipShoot near a window in daylight, with your work filling most of the frame. A real photo of your own work gets more bookings than a stock image.

Set when and where

  • Session Duration: in minutes, anywhere from 5 to 480.
  • Where does it happen? You can pick more than one:
    • Provider's location: clients come to you. Choose your Area (required). The street address is optional.
    • Client's location: you travel to them.
    • Online: Zoom, Google Meet and so on.
  • Weekly Availability: switch on the days you take clients. Switch off the days you don't.

Working from home?Choose "Provider's location" and turn off "Online" if you don't offer it. Check the summary on the last step to confirm it's right.

Set your price

  • Keep Single Sessions switched on and type your price in dollars.
  • The green box shows You will receive, which is your price minus the PayNow processing fee (0.9%, minimum S$0.20). We don't charge a platform fee — ever.
  • Optional: switch on Bundles & Packages to sell several sessions together at a discount, for example 5 classes for the price of 4.

Ask questions at booking (optional)

Switch on Enable Intake Form to ask clients questions when they book. For example: allergies, nail length, a cake flavour, or a child's school level. Leave it off if you don't need anything.

Check it, then publish

You'll see a summary of your listing: title, days, duration, location and price. If anything is wrong, tap Back to fix it. When it looks right, tap Publish Listing.

Your listing then appears on your profile and can be booked. To change it later, go to Dashboard → Services and tap Edit.

CHAPTER 3

Make your profile page look good

Your profile is one web page that shows who you are and all your services. Go to Dashboard → Profile. Tap Preview at any time to see what clients will see.

Step 1

Fill in the basics

  • Public Name: your business name.
  • Profile URL: pick a short link, like list.sg/@bakesbyaisha. Use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, 3 to 30 characters.
  • Headline: one short line under your name, like "Custom birthday cakes, baked fresh in Punggol".
  • Bio: a few lines about you and how you started.
  • Photos: a profile photo, a cover image, and up to 9 portfolio photos of your work.
  • Categories and Location: pick the areas you serve so nearby clients can find you.
  • Optional: languages, years of experience, certifications and social links.
Edit Your Profile form with Public Name, Profile URL and Headline
Step 2

Choose a look

Under Profile Personalization, choose a colour theme, a font for your name, a text size and how your listings are shown (as a list or as swipeable cards). Every theme is designed to stay easy to read.

Tap Save Profile at the bottom when you're done.

Step 3

Share your link

This is what clients see when they open your link. They can browse your services, book, pay and message you, all on one page.

  • Put your list.sg/@yourname link in your Instagram bio.
  • Send it when someone DMs you to ask about price or availability.
  • Add it to your WhatsApp Business profile and your status.

Fewer "how much?" messagesClients can see your prices and free days on your page, so you won't need to keep answering the same questions.

CHAPTER 4

Handle bookings and get paid

Everything is in your Dashboard. The bar at the bottom of your phone screen takes you to Dashboard, Bookings and Messages.

Step 1

Add your bank details first

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Payout Bank Details. Enter the account holder name, bank, bank and branch codes, account number, and your PayNow phone number or UEN. Tap Save Bank Details.

Do this before your first booking so your payout isn't held up.

Step 2

Set your cancellation policy

On the same Settings page, choose your cutoff. It applies to all your listings: appointments, classes and programs.

  • Flexible: cancel at least 24 hours before.
  • Moderate: cancel at least 72 hours before.
  • Strict: cancel at least 7 days before.

Here's what happens when a booking is cancelled:

  • Before the cutoff: the client gets the full amount back as a credit, not cash. It's a one-time code that can only be used with you and lasts 12 months. Clients see it under My Credits on their Bookings page, with a button to book you again.
  • After the cutoff: no credit is given.
  • If you cancel on a client, they get a credit too, whatever the timing.
  • Clients who booked with a pass or membership don't get a code. The session goes back onto their pass instead.
  • Guest bookings (made without an account) don't get an automatic credit.

Why credit instead of cash? The money stays with your business, and the client has a reason to rebook with you.

Here you can also choose which emails you get (new bookings, cancellations, reminders). If more than one person serves clients at the same time, set Team Size. If you work alone, leave it at 1.

Step 3

Manage your bookings

Tap Bookings to see every booking. Use the tabs to filter: Upcoming, All, Confirmed, Pending, Awaiting Payment, Completed and Cancelled. On each booking you can:

  • Tap Intake to read the client's answers to your questions.
  • Tap Add note to keep private notes, such as "prefers nude shades".
  • Tap Complete once the session is done.

Schedule shows your bookings day by day. Messages is where you chat with clients.

Step 4

Track your earnings

Go to Dashboard → Earnings to see your available balance, this month's total and everything you've earned so far.

Payouts are sent weekly to your bank account and arrive within 3 to 5 business days. The page shows the date of your next payout.
